Whats changed? Notably the Exemplar class is no longer a skill monkey prestige class, it is now a theological prestige class. As such the whole damn class has changed.

Requirements: To qualify to become an exemplar, a character must fulfill all the following criteria.
  • Alignment: Any
  • Skills: Knowledge (religion) 2 ranks, Concentration 5 ranks, Diplomacy 5 ranks, Profession (apothecary) 5 ranks.
  • Feats: Divine Might, Sacred Spell, Persuasive.
  • Class: An Exemplar must have at least 5 levels in one of the theological classes (cleric, paladin or druid). Furthermore the PC must have taken their last level in one of the theological classes prior to becoming an Exemplar. For example a player who takes 5 levels of wizard and then 5 levels of cleric may attempt to become an exemplar, however if that same player where to take 4 levels of wizard then 3 levels of cleric and then 3 levels of fighter she may not attempt to become an exemplar.
  • Special: An Exemplar must be ordained by a person with the power to ordain Exemplars. This power is held only by the highest members of a religious order, or another Exemplar with at least 6 Exemplar levels.
Class Features
  • Interaction with Paladin Levels: Taking levels as an Exemplar does not count as multiclassing if the PC’s prior levels include paladin levels.
